Who we are

We are Develop and Fix, Inc., a corporation based in Maine, USA. We build and sell software for photographers. Our website is https://developandfix.com

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Cookies

The public areas of our website do not use cookies. If you visit a log in page, we may set a cookie to test whether your browser supports cookies. This cookie does not contain any identifying information. If you register for a user account and log in via our website, we will optionally set a cookie to track your user account to facilitate future logins.

Account information

If you register for a user account for FilmLab or any other of our apps, we will retain the data you provide (including your name, email address, billing information, etc.) indefinitely. We also keep a record of any digital or physical purchases you make. This information is needed for accounting and customer support purposes.

Embedded content from other websites

Some pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) from other websites like YouTube and Instagram. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Photos and application data

The FilmLab app does not share your photos or any user data. All photos taken with FilmLab are kept on your device and not uploaded to the internet unless you choose to do so using a separate sharing app.

If you enable data sharing on a system-wide basis (for example, setting up system backups to the cloud, or choosing to share crash reports with app developers), then some FilmLab data will be included in the data your device uploads to Google or Apple servers.

How we use your data

Billing and/or subscription information may be provided to a secure third-party provider for billing, subscription tracking, or other business purposes. We do not share user or customer data with third parties for tracking or marketing purposes.

What rights you have over your data

If you have registered for an account with us, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
